5 stars for customer service.. the best experience I've had in a long time!! The food was delicious and very well served.. the restaurant is simple but very warm and welcoming.. definitely coming back :)

I was craving breakfast; my brother told me about this place . After reading the reviews I agreed . A lot of us get thrown off because of the location; it's in the ghetto. We live a couple blocks from this place ; always saw it but never checked it out. Let me tell you it's Outstanding ! The food quality and quantity is great. I got a French toast breakfast combo . The quality is better than your nearest I*HOP or D*NNYS. Props to this place . Hash browns are toasty not soggy , sausage is high quality and bacon . Large portions. French toast came with plenty syrup and butter. This place is not stingy at all. My brother said ambience is great and family like . Props to the owners and Chef ! Food was so good I didn't take a picture. Hispanic owned place , always happy to see my people thrive.

One of the staple places to eat in Oakland. I love the service here. The owner is such a lovely man. He remembers what you like and don't even have to look at a menu to order just tell him what you're craving and he'll serve it right up. Customer service has consistently been 100% fantastic. The food is so good i eat there when it's fresh and ready. I've never had bad food. The seats are comfortable and it's perfect if you want to dine alone or if you have company. They have pictures on the wall of what you can order which makes i even easier. You just have to try!!! You NUST.

The pupusas are really good the only place I buy from and the customer service is 5 stars the owner is really nice

Early Sunday morning and the cook/owner picked up phone took my order and said ready in 10 minutes. hash browns were crispy and eggs perfected to over hard fried. Just like I requested. Checked to make sure I had ketchup etc. in to go bag. Big Breakfast . Keep the same sausage also. Damn good quality. My new go to breakfast spot in East Oakland. Thanks for being open during these challenging times !!

Best breakfast lunch and even dinner you can find right in the middle of the Hood between 85 and 86 on E14 in Oakland if you from Oakland then you know San Francisco restaurant if you scared you would miss it but good Food and even better service everyone there is Cool

San Francisco Restaurant is an iconic name for an eatery in East Oakland. no doubt it will be memorable for it's name as many eateries in this area would be named Oakland this.... or this Oakland . the menu fits the neighborhood. offerings: breakfast, burgers, pupusa, salvadoran tamales, ... eats: revuelta(combo), cheese & beans pupusa@2.50 -good sized pupusas, fresh vinegary curtido (cabbage slaw), tasty fillings with crispy texture, not so mushy insides. leftovers: -tamales made with corn oil not lard next on my eat list. -parking is iffy in this area.

Delicious and friendly!!! We will definitely come back. The pupusas are not too thick, soft and fresh masa and crispy outside. Super tasty fillings! Beautiful, homemade cortido (sp?) and salsa.

I came back to this place for their "big breakfast" 2 sunnyside up eggs, sausage and a hashbrown along with 2 pancakes. It was super tasty. Francisco is a very nice man. Highly recommended this place

I used to work in the neighborhood and would come here all the time - definitely miss their pupusas! They have a variety of other things, but I only have gotten the pupusas and breakfast burrito. Both are amazing! The pupusas are always cooked well, and they a few different kinds. Their breakfast burrito is consistently on point. I recommend calling your order ahead if you're on your lunch break (like I usually was). There is usually parking at the curb just outside of the restaurant. Sometimes during the lunch hour service is a bit slower, which is typical, but not too bad considering there's usually just one server! I'm not sure how they still make it work, but they do. Your server is also likely the owner, who is super nice, and makes sure your order is correct and to your liking. Check this spot out!
